Description
Are you a warehouse operative or someone else looking for a fresh challenge? Staffing Match are proud to be working in partnership with DHL at Bristol Airport! We have opportunities for Baggage Handler Ramp Agents to work on a long-term basis.
No experience is necessary, FULL training is given.
Please note you MUST have a driving license for this position, be fully flexible in the shifts you can work and be able to provide specific checkable 5 year history (can be work, study, self-employment, unemployment / benefits etc).
Duties and responsibilities
Ramp Agents work outside close to the Aircraft, they are responsible for handling baggage as well as operating equipment around the Aircraft. Full training is given on all roles. Baggage Handlers work inside the Baggage Handling Unit at the airport and are responsible for processing passenger's baggage and ensuring it is loaded & unloaded accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
Due to the location of work being at Bristol Airport you must be able to provide the following:
- A valid Driving License - this is needed for the job, not to enable you to travel to the Airport
- 5-year specific checkable history month & year, from and to dates, you do not need to have been employed for a continuous 5 years, we just need to verify what it is that you have been doing, so this could be periods of study, self-employment, unemployment etc
- Valid ID
- Willing to undertake a criminal record check
Hours of work
You will be given a rolling rota 6 shifts on, 3 shifts off. You must be FULLY flexible as this will require you to work a mixture of earlys, days, lates and nights. Shifts can start anytime from 3am and finish anytime up to 2am. You will work a guaranteed 30 hours per week with potential overtime available.
Pay
£9.25 + per hour + £13.87 overtime
