I am currently recruiting for a Senior Production Operative within the Manufacturing industry. This role would be reporting to the Section Leader and the hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 16:30 and Fridays 07:30 to 13:30. The working environment is a factory shop floor and will thus involve high noise levels, oil, and relevant health and safety measures. All necessary PPE will be provided.

Responsibilities
For the role of Senior Production Operative, you would be helping to ensure the daily production plans are being met
Operating and setting machinery (Fly Press, Riveters, Spin Riveters), proactively identify continuous improvements and efficiency gains
As a Senior Production Operative, you will be working to 5s standards and ensuring health and safety is being followed

Requirements
Basic literacy to be able to read and understand instructions, Health and Safety information, workplace practices and policies
For the role of Senior Production Operative, you will be able to work under pressure and at a fast pace, have a "can do" attitude
As a Senior Production Operative, you will have experience with 5s/LEAN manufacturing
