Our prestigious client is currently seeking a Physical Logistics Associate to join their team.
As a Physical Logistics Associate you will be part of a team taking deliveries of parts on site, picking and delivering the parts to process partners and ensuring parts are delivered within the correct time frame. Other duties will include:
- Off loading and back loading HGVs using MHE
- Internal sequencing of parts
- Picking and line feeding parts
- Returning parts to correct locations
The successful applicant will ideally have a valid forklift licence and valid medical.
We are looking for a self-motivated worker who can demonstrate their ability to work to prescribed processes, accurately and in a repeatable fashion. As part of a team of Associates it is vital you can communicate effectively with your colleagues and manager. You will be working to achieve production volume targets and the highest quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:
* Following defined processes.
* Participate actively in continuous process improvement activities.
* Clean and tidy the immediate work area.
* Follow daily maintenance routines.
* Meet daily volume targets and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Suitable candidates must have recent warehousing experience, ideally in the automotive industry, although candidates from other sectors will be considered.
Valid forklift licence and medical.
Good inter-personal and communication skills.

The role will be based at our clients manufacturing plant and head office based in Westhampnett, West Sussex. Please note that although this role is based at our client's premises you will be employed by Gi Group, the on-site agency.
