BINDERY ASSISTANT

GI Group Scarborough have an exciting opportunity to join our reputable client based in the Eastfield area as a bindery assistant. This is a temporary-ongoing position with an opportunity to progress to a supervisor role.

In this role you will be operating machinery and ensuring the accurate and timely insert of leaflets into magazines. This is an opportunity to work with a friendly team and to learn new skills.

HOURS: Monday to Sunday 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00

PAY: £8.72 per hour

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manual handling
* Use of machine operating
* Ensure work space is kept clean and tidy
* Packing products efficiently
* Safe stacking of products
* Feeding inserts into magazines

KEY REQUIREMENTS
* High levels of attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-motivated
* Awareness of H&S best practice in the workplace
* Able to work as part of a team
* Willing to learn new skills
